If your printer was previously set up on your Mac, it should continue to work normally after upgrading to Sierra. Depending on the age of your Mac and printer, you might need to scan in a different way after the upgrade.

If you did an upgrade from a previous version of OS X and you had College of Law printers installed, they need to be deleted.
